Natashia Nicole Photography | Wausau Central Wisconsin

we are. From the beginning, this experience was awful. I booked based on the photos on her website and the interaction we had when booking, but as soon as I signed the contract and sent the first check, everything went downhill. She lost my check for months and only magically found it after I contacted her a half dozen times. After that, there was zero communication. I would message for details and get nothing back. If she did respond, then it was some sort of excuse, anywhere from being out of the country to her phone not working, or she was changing phones, etc... I assumed I would be without a photographer for my wedding day, and at this point, I wish I would have been. The quality of photos and the service I received were so awful. It started with the two photographers coming into my house and basically saying nothing, no introductions, no kind words. Then they proceded to help themselves to one of the back bedrooms to take photos of my invites and the rings and flowers... it wasn't until I received my photos (which were two weeks late) that I realized they used items that were not even mine. My rings were placed in a ring box that wasn't mine... wrinkled ribbon was added that wasn't mine and didn't match my color... the list goes on. I had provided a ring box... had I known she wanted fabric, I had fabric left from my decorations... she could have used the lace from my dress... anything would have been better than what she did. On top of this and the fact that she paid zero attention to details, it became evident that she cannot take a good photo without natural light. Which was a big issue given my wedding was inside. After receiving the photos is when I realized that she literally just didn't take pictures of everyone... I am missing pictures of some of my bridesmaids... she had her assistant take the pictures of the groomsmen and there are zero of two of the groomsmen and the two young boys that were our ring security. On top of just not taking photos, they were extremely late getting to the guys... they took over an hour to go from my house to the venue which was literally 10 min away. I am also missing half of the wedding day, zero pictures of the cocktail hour, zero of the reception... I have 4 photos total of the guests and they all have the same guests in them... so basically zero pictures of the guests... In the photos I did receive there was no attention to detail, most of them are off center, several have something random in them, like flip flops, or the edge of a table, or a giant fire alarm. There was zero photoshop done on 99% of the photos, things I was told would be "easy to edit" were never even touched. There are photos she said she took, gave me a thumbs up, that I never received. I reached out non stop for months and have gotten zero response. None of my issues have been addressed. On top of all of this, our contract was broken due to unfulfilled items including, 2nd photographer coverage, a photobook (not that we have anything to put in it), image corrections, and approx 500 missing photos. It is sad and heartbreaking that someone would purposely ruin this part of someone else's wedding day. There is just no reason for this to be our reality, we didnt deserve this. Please don't take the risk that I did, book with someone else.

ing up to the wedding, we had to have backup plans because we never heard from her. When we finally would hear, she would make up excuses that never made sense such as problems with her phone. She would still get the email regardless of her phone... She showed up for the event but things didn't get much better. The second photographer we hired was basically just her assistant. She barely had a camera in her hand the entire night and just poorly set up photos for Natashia. We did the standard photo session with them during the wedding but once that was done, I never saw them again the rest of the night. When it was time to get pictures, again she wouldn't respond to our status update requests. Finally she did saying the contract states x weeks. That time came and we still didn't have pictures and she didn't respond to messages. Finally we got the link for the photos. The quality of them was very poor. Classic photos such as the bridal dress hanging on a hangar against a backdrop...ruined by an extension cord plugged into the wall. We are hiring a "professional" photographer who sets the scene for the perfect pictures and she missed things like this. One picture had a Starbucks cup in it. She missed taking specific pictures such as bride with her parents. Some photos we know she took, she didn't provide to us. Most of the photos are off centered or crooked as well. We assumed that she would be correcting things like this using photoshop but that doesn't seem to be the case here. So we message her numerous times asking her these questions as well as asking her about the photo book that was part of our contract (not that we have enough quality photos to fill a book) but again she does not respond to our messages. If she responds to this review, I'm guessing it will be filled with the usual excuses or placing blame on us for some reason but we paid her as a professional to provide a quality product and she failed to do that. We'd have been better off with a friend using an iPhone.

willing to fix my dress or anyone's necklace before a photo. What really sold me was the all-in-one package deal of the engagement shoot AND wedding day photos. It was great getting to meet Natashia when she did our engagement photos a year before our big day to ease any nerves. I couldn't recommend her enough to capture your wedding day!

e did for us (included for free when we booked her for our wedding!). She really has an eye for what looks good and we love the airy natural style to her photos! On the day of she was a calm presence and knew exactly what she was doing! She is a true professional in every way. We cannot thank her enough for capturing our day beautifully and documenting all of the wonderful memories through photos!
